Shelby.GT500
Does anyone know how to remove the rear seat head rest for 2011 GT500? I wanted to remove them just because they block a big portion of the rear view and my daugther's car seat has a belt that needs to hook up on the top anchor (should I just run the belt over it? It is currently and I am afraid it will ruin the head rest because of the tension).
ThomasL
I assume you know this, but they fold forward (at least in my '12 they do) so they don't block any of the window. Not sure how to completely remove em though.
JeffIsHereToo
Thomas beat me...not sure if the forward fold interferes with the car seat though.
Shelby.GT500
Yes, I know they move forward but they do interfere with the car seat. So the other side is folded down but it just look weird that the other one is upright, and probably will end up deformed from the belt's tension. IA Shelby
Call your dealer. I would hope they would know.
Boidster
Does the manual have anything to say about attaching the top tether? I would think it could fit between the headrest and the seat back, but I have no kids so WTH do I know. :-)
