Grabber
My Wife Tana has the 3M clear bra on her 500. Here are pic's of it. The installer did a great job. It has been on for a year now and looks great and is doing it's job protecting the paint and stripes. She has the door cups done and the side pillers next to the front windshield and the door edge covered too.

1sgt
THANK YOU it looks great . I'm getting a GT500 2014 and I want to drive a lot more then I did my GT350 . Oh did you do the top and back and how do you keep it clean do you wax it ??
CSX4833
I also had it installed and am pleased with the installation. I also had the side mirrors done and the CF splitter. It makes driving the car much more enjoyable IMO with knowing rock chips will for the most part be turned back. As long as you can live with the visible edge, I find it a good idea. There is no need to wax it but the "extra" wax can get caught by the edge and it takes just a little detail time to clean it off. If you clay bar your car, a little care is needed but that holds true for the vinyl stripes too. Enjoy your new GT.
mikeljgt500kr
I have seen many cars with it, I don't like it, you can see it, it is very obvious, and it is unsightly IMO, I'll take my chances.

BLUE 2010 SHELBY GT 500
i have had it on my car for more than three years its the best protection you can buy ,i have it on my hood, not the stripes, my complete bumper, head ligths, fog lights, half of fenders,a pillars, mirrors, behind the front wheels, and in front of the rear wheels,as far as some of the other coments i think it depends on the color if you can see it or not, i think white you can see it the most imo, as far as grabber blue i have to point it out for most people to see it some say it yellows ,i have not seen any yellowing and i have alot of wax on my car , its up to you on how much protection you want or dont want, if you plan on driving your car on any highway you can almost be sure you will get some kind rock chips ,so imo since i have driven on the highways like most of us its a great protection ,mine does its job, i have no chips ,its probably your only choice, besides painters tape or a mask, good luck with your choice
MJN
Have to agree, have it on mine and you can't beat the protection it provides. Had it on my Raptor and my wife has it on her Fiesta.

MARZ4ME
We had the 3M protection applied to about 60% of our GT500. All front, doors. mirrors, top and a portion of the A pillar. Tha A pillar is where thay had to break it because we didn't want the entire back end done and this is the only place where you can see a line ~2" long and barely noticable. The reason is we paid a little more and they( Ultimate Shield sean@ultimateshield.com) "WRAPPED" the film under the panels. It's the way to go! Before having the work done about a year and a half ago I did some due diligence and came to the conclusion that the key is the installer. Jer
It's really good, but the installer can make or break it. Our people here in Vegas are incredible, we refer them to locals and people having it installed here during their build. They did my window tint, and it's 100%. Incredible customer service, too. The bottom line is THIS: Use the installer our rep recommends! A customer who was NOT in our area argued with our service rep and insisted on using his own guy. VERDICT: Sloppy work, visible lines, and an added cost when he destroyed pieces of the kit through inexperience. When done right, it is hard to see. If you can easily see it? It was probably done wrong. Jer
1sgt
I like to do it to my SS . Can it be done and look great ??
Jer
I like to do it to my SS . Can it be done and look great ?? Yes. For a car that is here at Shelby, just tell your sales rep you want it done while it's here. Jer
mikeljgt500kr
I like to do it to my SS . Can it be done and look great ?? Looking "great" is a matter of opinion on these things IMO. Make sure you have seen it up close in person before pulling the trigger, just my 2 centavos.
Jer
Looking "great" is a matter of opinion on these things IMO. Make sure you have seen it up close in person before pulling the trigger, just my 2 centavos. When I have to look CLOSELY to find the edge line, that's "great", to me. I can't vouch for ALL installers, but our local team continue to amaze me. Jer
jerseygator
I had it too. Did a great job protecting the paint... But I agree with Mike. It was easy to see. And I'd have to say it was a fantastic job. You can just see it... Also, I had to take it off before repainting (was wrecked in Carlisle). It was a PIA and took off a huge chunk of paint. Thank god the car was being repainted. I didn't put it back on.

Where did you get them if you don't mind me asking? I got mine from John Farmer.
