2011-2012 Hood Stripe Question

Hello,

Can anyone tell me why some of the 2011-2012 GT350's cars have the word GT350 painted on the hood and other cars don't??????

Both cars attached have full painted stripes, but one does not say GT350. I've seen cars for sale that have both, so I'm just trying to figure out why the difference.

Thanks,

Sandy

If you order the car with painted stripes you have the option of having the "GT350" painted on the hood or not. The non-painted stripes only come with the GT350 as part of the vinyl decal. The same thing goes for the rear; vinyl only goes partially down the back facia while the painted stripes can go all the way to the bottom. If you see a car without the GT350 you know it's a painted stripe.

It was all a matter of personal preference. I like the GT350 on the hood but wanted to keep the stripe package as close to the original as possible.

Hope that helps.

John

Thank you guys. I think I'll get the painted stripes for sure, but I just don't know if the GT350 lettering will make a differecne in re-sale or not. I like the GT350 lettering on the hood, but the car I'm thinking about does not have the gT350 lettering.

Thanks again

Sandy
