DAMN!!!! I found a like new 08 SGT. Blue vert. 3000 miles. All original window stickers. Cloth top. Convertible top boot.

They are asking $28K, I am willing to go $25K. Or do you think it is worth what they are asking?

If it really is in perfect shape that price is about right.

It could have some warranty on it since it is at a Ford dealer and that would be piece of mind and worth some extra .

Try your 25 K and see what they say.

They won't budge. Since it is rare to find such low mileage I guess that's why. It looks like brand new. It does come with a 3 month/4000 mile 100% warranty. What the hell. I guess I'll do it. When I am laying on my death bed I'll be pissed if I don't. :)

if it is truly perfect, never wrecked, never driven in road salt, etc.............I would jump on that before it is gone. Prices on convertibles are lower in the winter. They know no one is looking for convertibles in January in PA. Come spring time that will jump 2-3 K IMO.

"Does the hood scoop look correct?"

On my white SGT the scoop has 4 bolts which I believe means it is original. This one appears to be riveted = "fixed".

And yes, as stated in another thread, I did get it. It will be my daily driver.

Thanks all.

Thanks Mon. I feel like I am 16 again. That's a good thing when you are 61. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!?

Life is like a roll of toilet paper. as you near the end it goes faster. Now ain't that the truth.

And guess what? It's going to be over 50 degrees here in SE PA tomorrow.

That top is GOING DOWN!

No bolts in my 08 SGT hood scoop.

Don

Yup. 2008 were riveted (at least SOME of them, that's when the revision took place).

Reverend, I do hope you are jesting re that being a daily driver. Correct me if I am wrong but was there not only about 300+ convertibles made in 2008. That means you have instant collectability for the future. if you have a 2007 then it is one of 5,500+ but the convertibles will be worth more sooner, in my opinion. Good Luck.

Yes Dennis please drive her. Drive her far and fast. Road rash, door dings and orginal tire wear can be expected on a DD so fret not. These cars are meant to be driven is the gospel spoken here. I would just like you to hand me my garage queen title back that you stole, only after you hit 7,100 on the OD. Thank you very much :hysterical2: I'm giving you only one spring and summer to make up 4,000 miles so drop the top and get to grinning. Once again, congrats on a nice low mileage find.
