AndyGJ
Hoping to get a quick answer from someone, but I'm trying to hunt down a spare rim to use as a spare tire in case I get a flat while out on a long trip -- I don't trust having the "fix-a-flat" pump, especially now that it is over 5 yrs old. I always thought they were 18" x 8", but when I called my local dealership to see if they had any good prices on an exact match, they told me that it was 18" x 8.5" when they looked it up by my VIN. They also told me that the price was $572. I looked on American Muscle for something close and they have 18 x 8 or 18 x 9 in chrome bullett rims, but no 8.5 inch width. I could possibly make one of these work...especially for $175, but wanted to know for sure if my stock rims are 8.0" or 8.5". ALSO - does anyone have an OEM 2008 SGT rim that they want to get rid of for a fair price? I already have a tire, so with or without tire is fine if someone wants to clear out some space in their garage. Thanks, Andy.

SGT5514
If I'm not mistaken, the V6 and GT use the same OEM spare wheel/tire setup. I purchased mine from a auto recycler in Conyers, Ga. I got the complete wheel/tire, jack with handle and lug wrench. Everything that would be in a standard mustang for $150 and it fits in the well with the cover flush. I'm not sure a full size wheel/tire setup will fit and have the cover fit flush. Mike ,

Well worth it to me to have a matching spare (and it's more important if you need to clear big brakes, etc...) Jer
Drendi
Did the full size spare on a stock wheel this weekend. Fits the wheel well in the trunk but sticks up about 1.5 inches above the floor level. Had to extend the anchor point for the retaining bolt about an inch to hold th tire, used a u clamp. All in all worked out well.
Chris_in_PA
Was looking at Ford Racing site, is not M1007S1895 01, which appears to be a n 18 x 9 1/2 inch wheel. Is this the right size for the front? Am looking at taking my front left (scraped it on the curb) , and making my spare, then putting a new one on the front. Also, seems the new style TPM sensor does not need the band/strap? Chris
