ColdwaterHotrod
Folks, Use this Excel spreadsheet (on a MS-Word doc.) I made showing all the different Shelby packages (a stock GT500, GT500 40th, GT500KR, GT500SS) Maybe this will help all the SU members see how each package compares to one another in each category without folks asking SAI what's the difference between this & that. If you question something let me know & I'll look into it so it can be updated. After this loads up you may need to click on the view button at the top in the tool bar area & click on a new zoom level of 75 or 100% to read. I will try to update it as information becomes available. EDIT: Updated on 4/30/07 @ 9:10 pm e.s.t. (previous download count was 168) Shelby_Packages_Comparison_as_of_4_30_07.doc Thanks CWHR Shelby_Packages_Comparison_as_of_4_30_07.doc

My hobby is my car & she supports me if I can come up with enough money w/o breaking the bank, plus I just wanted to show that I can contribute around here too no matter what some others may think. Thanks CWHR Wow, very impressive Coldwater. Nice color coding. I would prefer to view it in Excel, but it opens in Word. One thing: You show 18-inch tires going on the 20-inch wheels. I wonder if Shelby considered Ford originally tested the GT500 with 19s and 20-inch wheels, but found 18-inch supposedly created optimum all-around performance?? I believe I also heard from Shelby Autos there is an issue with fender rubbing with larger wheels? I wonder how they solved any of these issues? You show re-painting the GT500 as an option on Super Snake Package through Shelby Autos? I notice the stripes are different. I wonder if the hood striping will change? I seen the error you mentioned on the tire size/rim size & fixed it here on my end. When I repost the link later it will be updated. On the paint I didn't know what to put for the KR since nothing has been confirmed & the same goes for the stripes. So for know I just put (TBD) to be determined.
