Ian9614
Has anyone done this for our years? I have no problem, nor have I had any prior with the stock clutch, but was wondering about advantages to performing this upgrade for our cars. Newer year model posts speak of problems shifting at high rpm, but I have no issue with this. If you've had a good experience, which brand? JHR, Mcleod or Ford Racing (other)? Advantages??? G8R Chomp
I was thinking of this, as well. I have the 2010 hydraulics in my '08. I notice that the first time I press the clutch pedal after a very long cruise, it's really stiff. I wonder if heat is getting to the rubber on the stock line. I'm having difficulties justifying $200+ for the ford racing line. The McLead and JHR lines don't look like all that much of an improvement. Maybe someone who has them can comment. Detroitboy
I put the Joe Heck line on mine and it feels more solid. I think it was $89? I measured the inner diameters and ends of it compared to the plastic line that came with my TSB kit, and it is larger diameter for more depth. After I installed it I compared the original 2008 factory line to the line that was included in the TSB kit for the 2008...and the TSB line was larger than the original factory one. So...the Joe Heck or FRPP line is larger than the original factory line, and it seems more solid IMHO.

I have installed this one on 2 different applications, (neither were a GT500) a real PIA and would only do it while replacing the clutch. http://www.jpcracing...leeder-package/ Edited January 29, 2013 by FordFan1
