Isn't that "Hertz" short throw shifter? Ha! I actually had someone tell me that at a show once when they saw the Hertz badge on the side. He said, "So I see this has the Hertz shifter in it." Boy, was he embarrassed when I told him close, but no cigar.

I see the pricing is all over the place for these listings - and this isn't all of them that are out there - from a high of $69,995 (with low miles) to low of $29,500 (with relatively high miles, but still too cheap). The average price WITH the Friendly price in the mix is $44,128. Without the Friendly price it's $40,895.

The dealership must have driven 392 locally some after they acquired it, as it isn't 8,500 miles from LV to Springfield, MO. Possibly they meant the only additional miles put on it was AFTER it came out of the rental fleet - from LV to MO. It would be interesting to see how much they get for it, or if they come off that price any. And don't forget - there is an '06 GT-H going across the block in Scottsdale (Barrett-Jackson) coming up soon in Jan. I'll def. be watching that one.

A little background.........Friendly Ford has had 06h392 at their dealership since Spring 2007. They had an Ebay ad at that time stating 8512 miles. I don't recall what price range they were in. The car appeared in another ad (Jan 2011) @ Friendly w/8573 miles and asking $49995. Now, 23 months later, same mileage but an asking price increase of $20K. WOW !

As for 459, I'd say for a car with that mileage, accident history, wear and tear as easily seen in the photos, etc...the price appears to be right on to me. You also have to consider an out of state sale with a Lien is not exactly easy. The car would sell better with a clear title.

^{Guys, H459 was mine and most know me on here. I sold for $22,000 for a couple of reasons, one being that it has 54,000 miles, two is that the rear glass on the top has come unglued and top is worn, its a $1600 repair job. He also has to pay tax in MO. If it had under 50K miles and a good top, i could of sold in my opinion for around $25K. I purchased 3 years ago for $27K, (28,000 miles) so its not that bad of a depreciation.}

^{The new buyer just retired as an ATF agent and is spending money on airline ticket to pick up. As for the lien, thats not an issue as our banks already did the paperwork and checks have been cut to me and the lien owner. Its not that hard with a lien.}

Congratulations on your sale. I'd say your depreciation along with all the fun you had putting on those miles has been a good value! I just bought an 06 from California with a Lien from Ford Motor Credit and I will say that it has been a total PITA! Who knows when I will actually get my paperwork and title in hand - several weeks I suppose and I had to front all the cash. Kind of nerve racking if you ask me.

494 is probably one of the nicest I have seen yet and with a manual. What a price though! Wow. Definitely an investment piece at that price. I like driving my cars too much to spend so much to look at it. Maybe when they take my license someday I'll pick something up like this as a centerpiece for my living room! ^_^

Wow, one of the 17 manual trans 07's. Not going to see those for sale very often!

I really like the undercarriage shots. Those are of a '60's mustang, not the 07. Took me a second, I knew something wasn't right with the blue bell housing and exhaust! Had to take a double take. They obviously just mixed up some pictures with another car.

494 looks nice - too bad the listing agent doesn't know squat about these cars. He lists it as a GT350, and with a 4 speed. Come on!! If you are going to have a premium car with a premium price take some care in your listing. Looks like some owner add-ons from the SPP catalog (which is fine, I guess). They also drilled the front license plate bracket way too high. Uggghh....

I wondered about that front plate. Looks terrible, I would have to replace the bumper to eliminate the holes. So glad to live in a state where it is not required. I still really like that car but hate the price.

The listing agent for 494 can't find the dash badge either, says he either misplaced it or maybe the owner took it back till it sells. He's not sure.
