I believe you are talking about the Anderson’s Pea Soup at 12411 State Hwy 33, Gustine, CA. If so, Renee and I would like to join up with you. We will be arriving early to have breakfast. We will be departing the Santa Rosa area at around 4:30 am to miss the San Francisco commute (580) and to make the conga line with you.

Hello Michael and Tom

Count me in for the Run.

I'll be there! :woot:

Like in all previous years, south bay, peninsula & coastal area drivers will rendezvous at the Casa de Fruita Chevron for the blast over Pacheco Pass

  • 2 weeks later...

My wife and I are trying to decide if we can make it to the bash this year -- looking forward to meeting everyone! (we've been far too busy to make it to any of the other events you guys have had since we got our GT500 in August) If we do, we'll definitely be joining the conga line down. Out of curiosity, how do you guys manage to stay together on I5? The last couple of times we've driven to LA it was a mess of people who don't know how to stay right when going slower than the speed limit :)

Thanks,

-- Les

That's where the "spirited" driving comes in. :peelout:

Out of curiosity, how do people normally make the return trip? We're debating staying Sunday night in Vegas and doing it in one shot Monday morning vs stopping somewhere around Bakersfield for the night.

As efficiently as possible.... Last year I think I made it home in about 6.5 hours ...and I live near Gilroy (about 500 miles door to door). Includes two-three fuel & potty stops. Thats a comfortable pace

Some stay over Sunday night, we usually have about 6-8 cars on the trek home Sunday after the car show. I come home because I cannot take anymore time off from work

Why yes , yes we did ( you make a good wingman ) I expect nothing less from you this year in case I don't make it. Let's see now - 130 MPH on the track , 140 MPH on the highway to the track , and a lengthy 140+ on highway 5 . It's always nice to leave the casino parking lot at 1:00 and get home in San Jose , clean out the car , put everything away and still be able to sit down and catch the 8:00 TV show . :shoppingcart_:
