LAST500
Ford went full out on the engine and drive train. So I decided to complete the transformation of this great vehicle. It now has incredible power and also handles great (no rear wheel hop). Have to thanks my friends at Kartoyz (408-251-1496) for all the great work on this beast. Prior mods: 1. custom wheels: 20 X 9.5 front, 20 X 11 rear 2. Goodyear tires: 285/35/20, 305/35/20 3. clear armor (expel film) every panel except the roof and doors 4. smoke tint all side and rear lights 5. Eibach springs (lowest sport) 6. larger Eibach front and rear sway bars 7. Shelby lower control arms and lowering brackets 8. John Lund ECU tune (710 hp and 630 torque) New mods: 1. power antenna (thanks to All Pro Audio) 3. Replaced the fog lights with DRL fog lights from Mansory (totally cool, wired to always come on with the headlight DRLs) very bright 4. Full leather interior (full dash, doors, rear quarter panels, center console and arm rest) 5. rewrapped the steering wheel (thicker by 1/2 inch overall) 6. full suede roof liner and all ABC pillars 7. Whileline watts linkage suspension (custom fabricated to fit the 2013 diff.) Still waiting on the Shelby brakes. going with 14s front and back, six piston and cross drilled. 662HP631TQ
It's nice! I would have gone a tad more subtle on the leather, but it certainly doens't look bad. The wheels are very nice. Car from the exterior is Excellent. Definitely made that GT500 your own. You should give it a designator... Shelby GT500-X or something like that to denote your name! Squirrel 007
Where did you get the leather interior done and what was the cost? I think I want to get rid of that plastic look of the cockpit. I'll send my car out west if I have to.
LAST500
Hi Squirrel 007; PM me and I can get you set up for the interior. I did not like the plastic interior either, and the leather interior conversion was quite expensive but worth it.

svt13
Why did you keep the seats stock? Car looks real nice. Twain did a good job on the interior. Only thing different I would do is put a lot more suede in there but thats just different tastes. How does the leather feel compared to the leather on the seats? txcobra
Why did you keep the seats stock? Why wouldn't he keep them stock? They are awesome as is...IMO. Car looks GREAT! nice job.
LAST500
The seats are quite nice as is. I brought the rest of the interior up to the seats, which are leather and suede covered already on the seating surfaces. Now the interior of the car exudes the quality that I hoped ford would have invested; but on the other hand a full leather interior would have added thousands of dollars to the $63k MSRP. svt13
The leather on the seats r garbage from the factory. I would have had Karyoyz use their Italian leather as a substitute

svt13
See what happened to your world beater gen 5 Viper at the Leguna Seca track.....I told ya so!!!! Oh I saw that article online I am disappointed in SRT. They didn't tame the viper enough. I still like the look better but the c7 may take it. They said the seats are extremely firm and inside of it viewing sucks so I am a little key down by the car. It may be one of those cars that are just fun to look at rather than own. At least my mclaren never let's me down
