Can't make up my mind

So I am trying to decide to go 2 routes before I finish my build with my shelby. I saw a black with white stripe today drive by me and I really liked the contrast and color though the white is still too plain so I thought silver would be a better choice. So I am trying to go 2 different routes those would be.

Stay stock black on black but do black alcoas with red brake caliper and red pin stripe

The 2nd option is black with silver stripe and do chrome alcoas since they would match now since the car isn't completely black or I could do a black alcoa with a silver pin stripe

Let me know which you all think would look best

P.S, I tried to do this as a poll but the thing was being gay and not working

My suggestion, but you know I am partial:

I decided to take red off the list as you know before I was very into doing it. The problem is I'm so OCD so I would redo my entire interior to make it match properly and I kinda don't want to spend more money on this car lol. I'm already getting mod remorse but I'm in too deep to turn back now, now I gotta finish haha.

I was thinking of the black alcoas with red pin stripe and red brake calipers like how the corvettes had it for the centennial edition just to add a bit of color to the outside. Now if I were to go silver stripes well then that would cost another 800 to get the stripes. I don't want to go too loud. I like subtley. I missed my chance on loud when I should have ordered either candy red or DIB with black stripes.

Still kicking my own ass for changing my mind at the last second to black on black.

Is that RED ? Looks kinda dark pink on my screen - ohh never mind the screen was just alittle dusty :hysterical2::hysterical2: Sorry man - you should get some red snakes for your fender badges (to match the ones on the front seats)

Actually I was thinking chrome curb feelers and 25" ZZ chrome wheels with a 5" lift kit.

Just what is so plain about white stripes? I think they set the black off with the great contrast. It is a fantastic color combo and the white stripes on the Recaros are perfect. I thought long and hard about this color combo and there is just no "Plain" about it!

Well it looks kinda dull as in it lacks shine and gloss, thats why I was thinking silver. I like the white stripes on race red and candy red. But now I have a better idea. What about the boss LS 2013 stripes? That is a special grey that reflects in different light. I'm going to see if this vinly guy can replicate that.

Silver and black - isn't that Oakland Raiders colors ? If you're going west coast then maybe go Orange and Black (like the world champion SF Giants) besides the Harley guys will protect your car when it's parked. I pick orange - yep definitely nothing dull about orange.

Well my '74 AMC AMX had a gold "T" Stripe on it and the gold on black was pretty awsome. It had somewhat of a metallic look to it. It was a tape stripe made by 3M. If you are looking for something that "Pops" that could be it. Or as Albino500 said above... Orange, very bold!

I was thinking maybe pink stripes on the black would stand out...heck then he could have the alcoas coated lime green..yeah I think that

wouldn't be dull and would stand out in a crowed............

"mod remorse" ?- say it isn't so :drop: , OCD ? :drop: YOU ? "changing your mind" ? :drop: "black on black" ? Don't worry about spending more money on the car you'll be too busy keeping it clean - black on black - the best looking color for the shortest amount of time especially for those who are OCD !!!! :drop: OCD = "Orange Color Desire" :hysterical:

^This is true. But after it's detailed it looks sooooo good :). No maybe I am feeling remorse because I'm really annoyed with this clunk that I found out finally is not normal. If the dealership can give me back my car properly fixed I'll be happy. I finally got to take a look at the katskinz leather first hand. It is indeed better than the ford leather (not as spongy feeling). Though no where near the level of quality in say european high end leather that you would find on an r8 or even in the new viper. I may send my seats to kartoyz and have them wrap them in a european leather and have Gary do the rest of my car.

Besides don't you know you have to be OCD to be an artist lol. It's the little things that make a difference.

bergenfelter - go red fender snakes and add the CDC/Roush side rocker splitters . JMO

I was also going to try and velco some of the coupe rear quarter window scoops to the convertible top - I think they look really cool and I could take them off when I put the top down. I was also going to paint them red too (or what Albino calls "pink").

I think that would look awesome, that centenial vette looks awesome with the red lipped rim. dumb question, do you have to get new calipers or can you paint the black brembo ones? I'd like to change mine to red

Here is a pic I took in Tulsa this summer. Black and Gold looks great. Tough decision. Right now, I am thinking White stripe delete if I go for a '14. I like the look of the Cobra Jet cars and plain white kind of emulates that look to me.
