David Hawkins
I can't believe that those Options are not set from the Factory for your area. If they can't do that, then it should not be an export option. You may need to call Ford and find out what is needed.
Nitro
Sounds like he bought the car in the USA and imported it to the UK, thats why the radio won't work. Ford though, should have a radio that you can buy that is setup for the UK standard. Edited November 11, 2012 by Nitro
Jetaries
Well actually all shelby gt500 bought in the UAE are USA specs. I think shelby comes with one set up ( nav or stereo speaking). I went to the dealer they know less than me. This side of the world ford should take a closer look:( if there is anybody out there that can help out I would be more than grateful. Bill_T
This might do the trick for you. Might want to call them to be sure though. https://www.europasvt.com/UNIVERSAL_PARTS/MISCELLANEOUS/USA_RADIO_TO_EUROPEAN_FM_FREQUENCY_CONVERTER____RADIO1_166.html
Jetaries
Thank you bill_t. I will certainly look into it. I was hoping that a firmware update would do the job. I read up on the device and it works quite well but the frequency display will stay on .2 MHz. It's always better that nothing thank very again. I let you guys know how it goes. Regards to all
