Still cant get my OEM knob off!

Thanks Twitch, just gotta get the chance to get one.

 

Ive got a white w blue stripe ball and a black w silver stripe ball...will interchange depending on mood!

(I should probably go to the doctor and get that checked.)

 

What'd the doc say, time to switch to boxers haha

Took off the stock ball, the new one came with 3 nuts and 3 threaded nipples none of which seem to fit. The retainer fits. Any ideas on how to install new ball or am i missing something?? Thanks

Question for those 2013 GT500 owners who have already done the shift knob swap....I'm about to do the same to mine.

 

Did you have to remove the shift boot to remove the stock knob....or is brute force with a strap wrench the only requirement? Have tried searching the site to see if it was "stickied" somewhere but haven't found one...yet.

FWIW, mine came off without much brute force and no removal of the shift boot.

Strap wrench was a must on mine ! Did use the retainer as well.
