08 ORANGE SS-725HP
You need more break-in miles. The chatter will go away
E.Marquez
Yes I have the SS Trim Spec clutch / flywheel. No I do not have any chatter.... unless you let it slip to the point your burning and abusing it... then it will chatter. I I don't use this car for climbing rocks, or crossing rutted mountain trails... I don't have the need to slip it that much. Normal street driving, driveways, up hill starts, traffic lights ect, no issues at all.
jerseygator
I've got a spec SS's. It chatters in idle at low rpm's. It doesn't chatter when I take off. It does chatter a little in reverse as you idle at low rpm's when backing. It was installed by Shelby Motorsports in Vegas. They said it was normal chatter with the twin disk. I've heard from other shelby owners that this is common. Mine has been road raced and over 8k miles on it. Solid as a rock. Oh... I don't use the car to climb over rocks or rutted roads either... Now that's some funny stuff right there.................. I've got SS-trim on the 40th and the P-trim on the supersnake and am very happy. I do get a little chatter sometimes with the SS-trim (reversing up the driveway) but none with the P-trim. The P-trim does take more leg effort to push the peddle in but that's okay with me. ShelbyGT500NC
Mine chatters a little when backing out of the driveway. I just attribute this to the uphill grade of my driveway. Otherwise it never chatters while going forward.
