richstang
found a sterling gray with black stripes and a white with blue stripes car. One at a dealer on "cars.com" and the other on "ebay". Edited October 22, 2012 by richstang
39Mustang
I'm just looking to see actual cars that are built rather than the photoshop ones. My 2013 Conv. went into Shelby L.V. shop on Monday so however long they take then it will be done and considering I am not using a supercharger that will shave a lot of time. Its a Conv. and I couldn't justify the cost of adding it when I'm only using it for cruising.

It may get to 'Vegas by year end, if I'm lucky.

NJPat
Best of Luck! suggest that you inspect car carefully, and test drive it (hard), before you have the car shipped home. that'll save you some potential aggravation later. shoot some pics when you get to SAI

Make sure all new gauges are functioning. Check all body kit parts for solid mounting. Make sure all new GT350 trim pieces are centered and level. When test driving let go of wheel to check alignment and braking. It will be an awesome car but as NJPat posted, taking the extra time at delivery is a good thing. Don Johnston
Excellent suggestions. Remeber, there is no engine and drivetrain warranty on the 642 HP option, so this is the time to test it before you sign for the delivery! Go hard and then go home. mikeljgt500kr
Wow! 6 weeks is like warp speed for SAI.
NJPat
there are plenty of great roads in the area for a test drive. if he is around, ask Gary P to take you out for a drive (let him drive first - that'll wake you up!). stay in LV for a few days; drive car in all conditions (highway, stop & go, etc.); spend some serious time with the car before GT takes it to Ohio. make a "punch list" and then go to SAI and have everything adjusted before you leave to go home. trust me, it will be time (and effort) well spent. and, one last thing: DRIVE THE CAR HARD, LIKE CS MEANT THE CAR TO BE DRIVEN! Best of luck! Pat

swa737
Sorry for the ignorance...what is SHELBY CRAGERS? Thanks, Jorge The only wheels available for the 2011-2012 models. The original GT350 had Cragar wheels. It was my belief that they were not offered for 2013. Maybe so, they are my favorite.

39Mustang
That is really sharp!!!!! What was missed that they won't correct? for some dumbass reason FORD will not allow you to order a GT Conv. with the Recaro's option? Even more stupidity is you can order a GT500 Conv. with the Recaro's but not a GT Conv? hmm, absolutely nonsense! I was not even going to order the car because of this but an unnamed person at Shelby said don't worry order the car we will get you the Recaro's. Let me explain that I have a very rare nerve damage in the base on my spinal-cord so I just cannot sit in any regular kind of car seat or even chair in your house due to the pain. My 2008 Shelby GT/SC sat for a year without driving it once because the pain is so severe sitting in the factory seats and the Recaro's are built different and I can sit in them with little to no discomfort and is why I just upgraded the interior on the GT/SC with Recaro's and the Alcantara leather, hence why I needed a guarantee from SAI about the Recaro's before I ordered the car. 1 week exactly before FORD shipped car to Vegas this person tells me we/SAI cannot install the Recaro's and been going through hell trying to get them for this. I also got the FREE GT350 interior upgrade as it was a special when I ordered the car so when I got an e-mail today with pictures saying car is done but we didn't do the Recaro's, bam the shit just hit the fan. Knowing I wanted the Recaro's WHY would you take the GT350 upholstery upgrade and install it on the factory seats while knowing all along I can't use them??? NOT what I ordered and not paying until error fixed! I am so irritated with the crap to build this once I get car I am 90 percent sure I will put it straight up For Sale! To say I'm disgusted with the treatment I've gotten is not the word I wanted to use! For how much money these cost and how much money I've spent there between 4 1/2 years, you'd think stuff like this would be taken care of
mikeljgt500kr
forgot to hit attach That would look much better with the as advertised 1967 GT350 badges on the side instead of that, whatever it is.....badge
