2011GT/CS
It should say in your owners manual but in my 2011 it requires 87 but reccomends 91 octane.
RUFDRAFT
What type of fuel should I run in my new Gt? The '13's have sensors - so you can run 87 - but 93 will give you more h.p. (If you weren't a newbie, I would have said, "Gasoline?") Welcome to TS!
ilmor
It should say in your owners manual but in my 2011 it requires 87 but reccomends 91 octane. 2013 manual recommends 87 and says 91 will provide more power. I read elsewhere that 87 provides 412 HP and 91 provides 420 HP.

RUFDRAFT
Had to stop for a State Trooper license check yesterday on a two lane road. Two cars - three Troopers. Idled up along side them as they stood in the center of the road. (expecting trouble, as usual) I hand the guy my license. He looks at my car front to back...waiting for a comment on the exhaust...he smiles, hands me back my license and says, "drive safe - have a good day." Must have been a car guy! :shades:

RUFDRAFT
You can really smell the unburned fuel behind my car! I'm really surprised the trooper didn't question the exhaust. Those guys around here have no sense of humor. Sheriff deputies and city cops are mostly cool - but the State boys take their shit seriously!
