Very excited to have ordered my 2013 v6 GTS today. I chose white with blue stripes in keeping with Shelby tradition. I'll keep everyone posted.

Very nice, color choice in traditional is excellent.

That's 2 people who have posted today who are ordering GTS models.

That's great, now we need to start a club if the GTS is getting popular.

You will know you have joined the first time that Deep Draw hood sneezes on you.

Planning a museum delivery with my teenage sons and a nice scenic drive back to Florida. It will be a long trip but well worth it!

Stil haven't decided on that since this car will be going to my sons eventually. Do you think I should?

Eventually being the key word here. In how many years do you think he would get it?

Do a 525HP one. Be aware it changes your drivetrain warranty from Ford to a 12/12.

In 3-4 years since they are 15 & 17 right now. Thanks for the info!

He is right, I misread your post.

Screwed up in other words, the 525HP SC is for the 5.0L, yours is a V6.

Definitely do the SC.

At 21, and if mature, he should be able to handle the 475HP.

And you'll be loving it in the mean time.

Check on any potential warranty changes though.

Someone here with an SC V6 can chime in.

Where in FL do you live? I am hoping to get stationed down there with the Army next summer for my next tour.

Good idea with waiting until the warranty expires to supercharge the v6 that would buy me some time with letting the boys get a little older, say 21 lol. I am in Palm City just north of West Palm Beach.

But then, they will get to enjoy all that HP and you won't.

But maybe by then, once they get the Shelby, you'll have to get another bigger and badder one. LOL

I have zero drivetrain warranty on mine. Oh well.

I have two daughters ages 21 and 23. They do not get to drive mine for any reason.

The 23 year old is a rebound kid right now, living with us at our home and working 2 jobs, putting her life together.

I put her in the 1999 Grand Am hairdresser type car, after she wrecked her 2001 Olds Alero.

V6 is limited to the Procharger 475HP. I have not read any drivability reviews but I would be inclined to add the SC.

I drive the red one here once in a while. No driveability issues at all, all the power is up above 4000 RPM, so around town, it's very smooth and tame. Wind it up, and THEN it pushes you back in the seat. I WLL say, the exhaust on this particular one is LOUD, with a lot of midrange snarl. Sounds good above 4000, but, in regular driving, it'll wear you out fast.

Thanks for the SC review Jer and all the help and information I got from Jeremy during the ordering process. Can't wait until she gets there to start working on her.

I'll agree. Though I don't have a supercharger "yet."

Idle = pleasant purr

2000 rpm = tiresome drone

4000 rpm = Nice!

You can hear my car fairly well if you go to the youtube video at min 8:45 I referenced.

Which type of Borla is on the cars? s-type/touring/atak?

...And ... Congrats on the order!!!

Nice Patentman!!! Hey, I just received an email from Shelby America in regards to their "Fall Event", I should qualify for some upgrades to the v6, any suggestions?

$3000.00 in performance options or roundtrip transport of the car with the offer running from 10/1-11/5.

That is really good to hear Jer. I would assume that with the lighter engine and Shelby suspension it must really move.

Yes, I would consider the supercharger to be one of the best options.

BTW, I checked that car's exhaust, and it's nothing like what the production cars are getting... it's got headers, no cats, just a prototype -

It's a good thing, because I REALLY don't enjoy the sound of it unless it's under full power. I'm pretty sure my neighbors wanted to kill me when I fired it up at 5am.

That's hard to pass up, the performance options I mean.

Bummer!!!! Spoke with Jeremy today and found out the the deal only applies to the GTS if more than $30,000 in options is spent. Guess that doesn't apply to me!!!
