AH64DFlyboy
So I am deploying next year. Prior to that though I have to travel to Alabama for a course which last just over three months. My question is this? What do most you of you all have for mileage on your Shelby? And if you were in my shoes would you drive your 2010 Roush Stage three or the Shelby? I have already drove to Alabama once in it.
IngotSilverSnake
I have owned my 2012 since Apr 2012. I will probably turn 1,000 miles next week. I take my 2001 Ram on trips like you are about to make.
berneyparts
July 27th mine was delivered. Don't even have 500 miles on my car yet. When you get to Alabama, look me up. I have plenty of connections on and off base. Plenty of shows and cruise-ins to go to. Bring the new Shelby, I would love to have another one in town. Thanks for your service and hope you have a safe trip what ever you bring.
Husky44
I'll go the other way from previous posters: I'd take the Shelby. I've had mine for 5 days now, and I'm over 900 miles. I'm about to have to store it for 6 months... I can't drive it enough. Alabama you won't have to worry about winter weather. Are you staying on post? If so, you shouldn't have to worry much about theft/vandalism.
AH64DFlyboy
Well I just over 4k on miles. I have had it since July but I drove it down to Alabama. This trip would be one way though since I am deploying I will leave it with family.
BCPD199
I go with Husky44 on this one. I have an '08 GT500 convertible. I have 44,000 miles on her now. I've driven her in sun, rain & snow. I've loved putting every mile on her. You bought it to enjoy. So go out and enjoy her!

jsdeweyusmc
I have approx. 6500 miles in which I drove from Fl to Calif and loved driving every second of the drive time on it.I brought my Shelby to drive it. If you brought it to keep in a garage leave it there and don't drive it.
braztang
No doubt, dive your mustang, that is why you have them for, to enjoy it, not to just look at them and keep the miles low. Enjoy it. Regards, Safe ride Braztang

I have a 2010 Benz and a 2011 Benz but I drive the GT500 when ever I can so if I were in your shoes I would be driving that shelby to training and loving it the whole time. SMOKE
If you wanted to drive a little further south (BIX) I have a squadron full of guys on base that would look after it for you. But, I could convince them either the RS3 or GT500 would be in good company.
