Serious issue? or so I think it is.

So I am deploying next year. Prior to that though I have to travel to Alabama for a course which last just over three months. My question is this? What do most you of you all have for mileage on your Shelby? And if you were in my shoes would you drive your 2010 Roush Stage three or the Shelby? I have already drove to Alabama once in it.

July 27th mine was delivered. Don't even have 500 miles on my car yet. When you get to Alabama, look me up. I have plenty of connections on and off base. Plenty of shows and cruise-ins to go to. Bring the new Shelby, I would love to have another one in town. Thanks for your service and hope you have a safe trip what ever you bring.

I'll go the other way from previous posters: I'd take the Shelby. I've had mine for 5 days now, and I'm over 900 miles. I'm about to have to store it for 6 months... I can't drive it enough. Alabama you won't have to worry about winter weather. Are you staying on post? If so, you shouldn't have to worry much about theft/vandalism.

I bought my 2012 in Oct. of 2011 and have 7,223 miles on it, I bought it to enjoy. I have a 2010 Benz and a 2011 Benz but I drive the GT500 when ever I can so if I were in your shoes I would be driving that shelby to training and loving it the whole time.

I go with Husky44 on this one. I have an '08 GT500 convertible. I have 44,000 miles on her now. I've driven her in sun, rain & snow. I've loved putting every mile on her. You bought it to enjoy. So go out and enjoy her!

+1

1000+ miles in 2.5 weeks since purchase, then had to go to Africa. Can't wait to get back home and take it on a nice long trip.

If you wanted to drive a little further south (BIX) I have a squadron full of guys on base that would look after it for you. :salute:

But, I could convince them either the RS3 or GT500 would be in good company.
