adding electronics package post production

anyone know if it's possible for a dealer to swap out the stock radio for the electronics package with Nav? It looks like the trim piece down the middle of the dash is different for the two systems. not sure if it's a simple pop and swap like other cars or if it's more complex than that. I've found the car I want with every option but the electronics package.

You'd have one hell of a time finding a tech willing to take-on the job, even if you were to buy all of the required components and your existing harness could accommodate them. Even something as banal as the external temperature sensor for the nav screen becomes a huge production to install after the fact. The more integrated the systems become, the harder they are to retrofit.

Of all the people I've known who've wanted to add factory nav after the fact, none have wound up following through.

I debated adding the track pack to my car though I imagine that too would be a pain in the ass and very expensive.

The Performance Package? Only the wheels are expensive. Track Package? It's mostly the additional/enhanced cooling systems (which are available in the aftermarket as well), and a new lower fascia with embedded brake cooling ducts. And a LOT of labor.

I said track pack not performance pack. I have the performance pack. So I would just be adding 3 coolers. And cutting out the plastic pieces for brake cooling ducts would be fairly simple. But I don't know how much the ford coolers cost and the labor invovled

^^^^those were added as part of the super snake conversion, thats not stock

Are you sure they are not part of the track package? The first and third pictures appear to be tear down pictures, before any modification.

The second picture is a post mod picture showing the SS brake cooling hose and duct. The factory ducts for the track package are shown in all three pictures.

The '13 Track Package has integral brake cooling ducts built into and behind the left and right openings in the lower grille aperture.

There is no brake duct kit for the '13 as the correct way to make them functional would be to swap the closed-off inlets for the equivalent piece with functional inlets and any additional molded plastic components that complete the air passage to the ventilated backing plates on each side.
