You were standing in some of the same spots that I was with the exception it was during different races P.S. I knew the Daytona dropped out of the race -- caught it in a few photos -- but didn't hear much about why until now (a great shame ... one of the risks at these races, but hopefully the damage isn't too extensive and can be repaired). mustang_girl Posted August 26, 2012 Report Share Posted August 26, 2012 I bought the Shelby, because I always wanted one - and I have a thing for blue convertible Mustangs. (I previously had a sonic blue GT Mustang convertible) I still needed a track car though, because I refuse to put a roll bar in the Shelby, and I didn't really want to track it anyway. It's too pretty. So it's my daily driver. Anyway, like I said, I needed a track car. I was going to go the practical used route, find something that had everything done to it -- but in the meantime I was drooling over the Boss 302 Laguna Secas. I kinda checked around, but I couldn't find a dealer that had an allocation, so I figured I was definitely going the used route -- and then one day I took the Shelby in to the dealer for maintenance. I walked through the showroom, and BAM there it was. Clearly a sign that the universe wanted me to have it. So I bought it :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
