They close down the main street in Fernandina Beach for this one! Usually 100+ cars of all types: hot rods, classics, one-of-a-kinds, late models, and of course Mustangs and Shelbys!

A really nice venue - bring the family and enjoy the beach, shopping, and restaurants! (There's also plenty of watering-holes for the adults!)

Amelia Island is located in extreme northeast Florida - The Amelia Island Concours is held here in March! Stay at the Ritz-Carlton or one of our other fine hotels - Hampton Inn and Suites is located uptown, 1 block from the show!

All profits support the Justin Hess Foundation and several other charities.

  • 2 weeks later...

There's a "Meet and Greet" party on Friday eve (around 5 o'clock or so), October 19, at "The Surf" a local bar/restaurant. All are invited to attend!

Also, if members are interested, and enough will commit, I will set up an unofficial "Team Shelby" hospitality area during the show. I know many of the local business owners, and I have faith that any one of them would love to host some Shelbys and their owners! (Maybe show your membership card and get a free drink or discount meal, etc.)

Sam, I'm across the ferry in Ponte Vedra, working on juggling my schedule now so I can make it up there. It's a special part of the State for those that have never been there, sounds like a great day!

It should be a blast, adjust your schedule if you can!

I'm headed down to the Ponte Vedra Chamber of Commerce / Brumos Porsche Show at TPC Sawgrass on Sunday, September 23, will you be attending that one?

My friend Larry Weisman runs that show, I will be there. I was originally going to have my '91 Allante in there with it's newly added For Sale signs on it, but I'm actually heading up to Amelia in the early afternoon, so It's going to turn into the first mini outing for the GT-H, which I'm told will be here tomorrow! I will keep an eye out for you guys.

My hood had a minor flaw in it that caused a nick in my radiator cover. If I can get it repaired in time, I will try to make the Amelia show. I have a difficult time taking Saturday off, so I will have to see how that goes. Worse case, I'll come up later and not show the car.

Bring it on, flaws and all! (I've got nicks and such all over mine!)

Just a bit over two weeks to go!
