Came from Switzerland to order a bunch of parts for my 2012.

Very disappointed...did order nothing.

Left with the impression the business is so good, they don't care at all...

Good for them!

I guess the good part for me is that I saved lots of K$

Will leave my 2012 as it is or buy aftermarket elsewhere.

:headscratch:

Patrick sorry to hear your Vegas Shelby experience was not what you expected. Did you go to the SPP counter in the museum? Jonathan definitely would be able to help you there. It is really cool going up there now and seeing the new parts counter there with some eye candy. If your really set on getting some Shelby parts call SPP and talk to them about what your looking for and let them know about your experience there. Even if they don't have what your looking for in stock they'll definitely take of you. I always have great experiences there as I was there on Monday and Tuesday.

Hopefully everything works out for you Patrick.

More or less I had a similar experience. I have purchased a lot of parts and when I said a lot it means a lot. Anyway, I stopped by last April, purchased several items at the gift shop. The lady was very helpful and nice.I asked for the person who was took care of my purchases in the past because i wanted to meet him personally. He knew that i was in a business trip there. So the lady at the front called him and let him know that i was there and wanted to see him. He answered; "I am so busy, I have no time to go there"!!

I was dissapointed or maybe my expectations were so high!!

Dating back to 2007, Shelby has never had a dedicated parts counter, which is something that I wanted to see addressed. We did add an SPP center in the museum a few months ago and it's still getting some attention as we improve upon it.

I don't know your particular reasons why you were not helped, however, I would like to learn more about your displeaure so that I can address it.

We do have people who demand to see the warehouse, but that's not possible. The fact that the SPP center and warehouse are far apart doesn't help and we realize that's a problem too.

Hi. I have experienced the same problem. I am visiting Shelby Las Vegas on August 23th 2012 for the Musem visit and to purchase a quantity of Shelby clothing.

I e-mailed a request to Tim to see if I could pre-order and collect a number of Shelby parts for my 2013 Shelby GT500 whilst there on my visit on the 23th.

I was also very happy to pay for the goods in advance. Their first reply was sorry, but no as they are not set up for collection of ordered parts. Then I sent a

second request to Robert Lane on Monday the 8th August and to date I have received no reply. I quess I will miss this great opportunity, but find this a poor response.

I am travelling with a group of other Mustang friends all the way from New Zealand.

I am sure Robert will chime in soon on this.

But, when I spoke with Jonathan at the counter, he stated that they stock the "small" items.

He said items that can fit into a suitcase for those traveling.

Not sure what you wanted to order, but I have always emailed or called Tim and never received that response unless the parts I wanted were not stocked on site and actually shipped from another source, such as the direct manufacturer.

I know its a pain, but try it again.

Rumor has it the FTSI and FTSR facilities there in the office park may be available at some point in the future.

Tim was very definite when he said that they do not allow pick up orders. My plan was to bring back the items in my suit case so I did not incur a large freight cost from the US back to New Zealand. Seamed a reasonable request as I would be standing in their premises, doing the factory tour again (did it in 2007) and the goods pre-paid. I will ask for Johnathon while I am there and see if he is prepared to help. I was after the extreme duty intercooler tanks, hood strut kit, quarter window side scoops & Shelby floor mats. On a positive note, weren't the Olympic's fantastic.
