sgt1020
Our cars came lowered from Shelby 1.5"s. I need to replace my shocks and springs soon so Im thinking about getting springs that will drop my car another 1/4 of an inch or so. Anyone lower their SGT more than the stock 1.5" drop? Also what springs would you recommend? Looking at the Red Eibach Sportlines or the Belltech springs.
jmn444
I like the look of the sportlines, but I like the stock drop enough to not mess with it.
johnrehder
Would you even be able to notice a 1/4"?? I know I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
jmn444
I think the sportlines add an extra 1/2" in back. It's noticeable.
WildAzCat
I already have trouble driving over speed bumps and into driveways with my SGT. 1/4 inch lower is out of the question for me...

Well that GT500 splitter you have is another inch or so lower than the stock facia, so I can imagine! haha
39Mustang
you can never go wrong with Eibach's! Are you running 18" or 20" wheels? If 20" I would not drop it lower. Try to get a package of Shocks/Springs combo that is made for each other rather than just picking up parts here and there. On my 08 I'm running Griggs w/ Koni's and the handling is world class with NO issues and not even a harsh ride. On the 06 GT I switched to Eibach's Pro-kit+ including their Dampers and very impressed with their Shocks and the price you can't beat. I said I switched because the car started out with Steeda Sport Springs and Tokico D-specs and the ride sucked! No other way to put it I mean the Eibach kit was so far superior and cost over $300 cheaper!

I know for sure I'm going to get the Koni Yellows as they're great shocks. Rode in my buddies SGT with the Koni Yellows and it's a night and day difference. They're also adjustable! RACERX009
I run sportline in the rear only to level the car out. It dropped the back a half inch. Front are ford racing.
