patrickshelby
Does anybody have experience with paint touch up and/or repainting and color matching "difficult" colors such as Vista Blue? Which supplier or source offers the best match: a) For touch up? B) For paint (refinishing of full body panels)? Thx
Guest MTYQIN
Patrick, How's it going. For touch-up, I go with Dr Colorchip: they match to factory color specs, and provide a kit that lets you put on the paint and chemically "rinse" off the excess, leaving only the chip/scratch filled in. Outstanding results on my 05 Porsche, and my 2012 GT500. Good luck, buddy. All the best, Quinn

Torched10
Ive used these guys Automotivetouchup.com they include all the sandpapers you need as well. The key is to go slowly, building up the paint and feathering it--itll take maybe 10 coats. But make sure youre not overreacting to a "scratch" many scartches can be eliniated if theyre not thru the clear ny using Maguairs # 2 or 3--I posted a how to a few years ago but cant find it right now Edited July 24, 2012 by Torched10
