Frank S
A neighbor of my daughter's has bought a different house in a nearby city. She was helping him winnow and pack a half-century's accumulation of car-oriented stuff, when she saw a stash of old issues of AutoWeek. She mentioned it to me and I told her to ask if he would sell them rather than throw them out. She asked, and he gave them to her. Woo hoo. Right there on the top of the first box was the August 16, 1982 edtion, with Carroll Shelby's sort-of-smiling countenance on the cover. Double woo hoo. Heck of a good interview and article by George Levy. Back when there was some journalism going on in car buff mags. Lucky us.
