07SGTC
Was wondering if anyone had ever started a dont do topic for the SGT. For example: In a post I read do not lift the hood up when your windshield wipers are lifted for cleaning purposes, you will scratch tear or damage your hood stripes. Another watch how jacking up your car you will damage the pinch weld areas if not careful. Topic can be about any area of the car, meant to educate on how not to learn the hard way. greaser
Don't try and go over any speed bumps they are all different heights and just because you make it over one doesn't mean you will clear another.
EL SHELBY
Don't pull in to a parking spot expecting the tires to hit the curb 1st. Don't pop the hood until the hood pins have been removed. Don't hide it in a garage. Do drive it!
springer
Don't smoke a GT 500 with your blown GT/SC and brag about it here on the forum! LOL
twobjshelbys
Don't smoke a GT 500 with your blown GT/SC and brag about it here on the forum! LOL Don't worry about doing it either. You will But if you do get the GT/SC DON'T keep the factory tires. They are bricks. It's really easy to do a cookie when doing a sharp turn and accelerating because the tires will break loose under acceleration on the turn. yoggiebhr
Don't be shy - You're going to get lots of questions from strangers about your car. Talk to them and educate them, you'll create another Mustang lover. Don't be afraid to personalize your Shelby - enjoy it

CSSHELBYKID
Don't think that the tires will stay on the ground. Especially at high speeds. Just common sence in a Shelby. CSSHELBYKID

2+2
Don't drive with the hood pins not put back in place. Don't get caught in a snow storm. And never take it to a Walmart parking lot.

Jer
Don't let water sit on the stripes EVER! Don't wait until AFTER the rock chips happen to get a 3M clear bra installed. Don't push it to the edge unless you upgrade the front brakes, at LEAST. Don't drive around with an offset rear axle - get an adjustable Panhard bar. Jer Amen to that, I didn't realize how off they are until I put the 10 inch rims with Nitto 285/40/18's on it. You can clearly see it offset to one side. Bugs the She-ite out of me everytime I look at it. Needless to say an adjustable panhard bar will be ordered here in the next week or so. CSSHELBYKID
Don't baby them. Carroll Shelby didn't build them to sit. He built them to be ran hard and not to be perfect like a Ferrari. As I recall him saying on the cover of one of the Shelby mags " get your Shelby out and drive it..." Csshelbykid
tpow96
Don't spend another dime on your car until you get it out on the track and learn how to push it HARD. That will set your priorities straight about future purchases, one way or another. Otherwise, it's just another pretty car. Oh, and doing it on the street doesn't count. -Tom
