I documented some of the activities at Carlisle for the Shelby 50th Anniversary with these photos. Team Shelby had such a great time this weekend with all the great activities, talking with friends, and having fun with our Shelby's!!!

I would, and I'm sure other's would like to thank John Keller and Andy Roth for pulling this amzing event off. Also, thanks to Gary Patterson, John Luft, and Sam for all of their hard work.

If anyone has photos to add for this event, please do!

Friday night's activities started off with a great dinner and talking with all the Team Shelby Members

John Luft and Gary Patterson spoke about the past present and future of Shelby American. One key point was getting young people involved in the passion we have for Shelby's.

I second your comments, The "Team" did a fantastic job as well as all the volunteers and people behind the scenes. Fantastic time, Will definately go again!!!!!!

Great pics. Any way I could get some copies?

I did not bring much of a camera to the event.

GOPRO 2 is much better on Video. I can post some later this week.

Again, Great pics.

Terrific pictures from the 50th anniversary celebration at Carlisle -- thanks for sharing! (Look forward to seeing the Shelby Pavillion in person at Laguna Seca & the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August).

Had a great time there. I met Gary Patterson, super nice guy! The rev your engines at noon in honor of Carroll was cool [esp. that tricked out T-bird,that engine was stout.] I also picked up a Fred Lorenzen diecast car that Lee Holman was selling at his booth. It was signed by Fred and Lee was also gracious enough to sign it as well right there. He explained that Fred is in a nursing home and recieves $10 for each car sold. Now it's off to Watkins Glen , hope to see and meet some of you there.

Super event for all, my 13th All-Ford Carlisle Event. I like to say I haven't missed one this century. Spoke briefly with Gary Patterson on Sunday and he posed for a picture with me, super nice guy and a great spokesman for Shelby American. Also spent a few minutes talking to Lee Holman about his 1964 427 powered Fairlane which was in the building near his booth. He took two of us behind the ropes to get a closer look and take a few photos of the car. Another great guy who took the time to talk to a few fans. This is the number three recreation car and the number two car is the one presently going viral on youtube.com blowing everything off in it's way on the track at Nürburgring in Germany.

I meet some of you and had a great time and for those of you I didn't, my car was probably the only Shelby there with a bumper sticker on the bumper (click on above pic). I'm sure a few purists cringed but it was my personal tribute to Carroll Shelby as I put 1600 miles on my Shelby and many smiles on people's faces as I passed.
