CSX4833 Posted May 29, 2012 Report Share Posted May 29, 2012 I just got my 2012 SS and have noticed the whine on my 3.6LC is quite a bit louder from 1200 to 2000 RPM. I'm pretty sure this is normal, but I have not installed my 3.6 yet. I have seen some YouTube videos with 3.6LC GT500's and it seemed that most, or all of them had that lower rpm whine. octaviusc Posted May 31, 2012 Report Share Posted May 31, 2012 My 3.6L makes a considerable whine even at idle, especially once it warms up a bit. How are you enjoying the car so far? I just love to drive now. Before it was a task that had to be done. Now it's not a task, but something I WANT to do. This was the best decision I've made in a very long time.
