SS 3.6L KB Pulley Engraving

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys, I have a SS with the 3.6L Kenne Bell and I am reducing the size of the pulley for a little more FUN happy%20feet.gif But i will not install this new pulley without it saying Shelby Super Snake just like my original pulley. Does anyone know where I can send it to have it modified.

Thanks

Nick

I chose to go the lower pulley change when that time comes. By the time you pay someone the set-up fee, and then the actual engraving cost for the pulley, I would guess that the cost could get into the 2-3 hundred dollar range?

Upgrading your cooling system is a must and most likely your fuel system, (BAP) Boost-a-pump, fuel injectors, MAF, etc.

The 3.6L SC is already at the top end on HP that the fuel/air system can supply.

ok that lower pulley is bad ass. tell me more

In addition to the links above, the IW lower that I took pictures of is the 10% version. There is also a 15% version. This particular 10% was originally on a 500CJ and was removed from the car with no use because of a turbo conversion. I have been told that the 10% lower will increase the boost approx. 3-4lbs. and the 15% 5-6lbs. +3-4lbs on top of what the 3.6LC already boosts with the bigger Super Snake pulley is fine for me and this 10% was priced right when it came up for sale, so I bought it.

I know that the Innovators West lower is not the cheapest way to go for additional boost on a 3.6LC, but the Super Snake is a unique car and a "Super Snake" engraved pulley is a unique part of that car, I have to keep that pulley in place and go a different route toward additional boost (if desired), the lower was it. It may end up that I am perfectly happy with the stock lower pulley? Who knows?
