ceswert
Does anyone know how I might be able to find an organization in the bay area that does aircraft fly overs? I am working with Mike Hennessy, the memorial organizer, to find something. Can anyone make suggestions or have contacts?
sportscars
Tim Hahn - b17drvr on the forum - flies for the commemorative air force here in Texas. He might know someone on the West coast who can do that. I'll send him an email and refer him to you and this thread.

ceswert
Thanks very much guys. I have received a meassage from Tim and have e mailed him back the info he requested. It just blows me away that Carroll was a flight instructor for the US Army Air Corps! Hope we can pull this off! Thanks again.
Bill Hamilton
I have the info and working on it. Get him at least a B-25. He also flew B-18s, B-25's, B-26's and, finally, B-29's as an instructor. He started as a flying Sgt in the USAAF and was mustered out as a 2Lt, one of a generation of the greatest Americans .... even before he started racing and building cars.
