I'll occasionally check my MPG on the trip computer and it has usually been around 19.9 MPG. Now it seems to have dropped to the low 18's. My commute has changed to using about 2/3 less of freeway miles. I'm not sure if the drop is a result of more city driving or something's wrong and it's suddenly running too rich. My question is would the Check Engine Light come on if there was a problem with the engine causing this decrease in MPG? Or should I have it checked out, anyway?
