Thanks Ford Racing Performance Parts; http://fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=11705 It's for a 2010 but the '11 & '12 are the same body. Required a Intake Resonator Delete Tube too. Phill

Taxfree
Be careful with the the Ford Performance strut tower bar. I ordered one and when I installed it the hood had a bludge in it about half way between the front edge and trailing edge of the hood. The sides of the hood were about 1/8th to 1/4 inch above the fenders. I removed the bar and the buldge went away. I thought about removing some of the hood insulation but decided to just go without. I still have the bar if you want to give it a try. I have a 2012 GT500 SVTPP. Let me know.

I tried removing the insulation blanket and it still had a rise in it but only about half as much as with the blanket. Having said that, about 75% of the people report that they don't have a problem with the other 25% reporting that they do have the problem. I'm going to try bending mine in my hydraulic press before completely giving up on it. It's primarily for looks on the newer GT500's so I'm not worried about structual integerty being compromised. VNVET
Taxfree, Do you still have the brace and how much do you want for it. Thanks
Frank Bailey
Look into Steeda's 2 bar brace...it's a nice piece and bolts 4 points on each side...very sturdy addition.
MARZ4ME
I installed the Ford Racing STB on my 2011 and had no problem. I did notice however that the bolt plane on either end of the brace was just off of flush with the strut tower housing. A little careful bending of the STB may correct the problem. "05mustangman" has a Ford Racing 07-09 brace but I can't tell from the picture if it's stock or modified and if it squeezes down the CAI... 2010vert
I have the 07/09 KR style strut tower brace on my 2010 gt 500. I did have to purchase the JLT carbon cold air intake and two spacers, also sold by JLT. It is a tight fit. I must say it cuts the cowl shake on my vert, and it feels a little tighter in long sweeping turns on uneven pavement.
