VMP Inlet Elbow on 2011

Recommended Posts

I have the 2011 GT500 VMP Inlet Elbow and the EVAP Relocation which consists of a piece of hose with two clamps and a extension harness.

I tried to relocate the EVAP sensor but I could not figure it out how it works.

Must something be cutted on the stock connections or how is the EVAP sensor connected with the extension hose to the the OE hoses.

Pictures will be helpfull.

Thanx in advance.

I can't supply you with any pictures- I didn't think to take any when I installed mine a few weeks back on my 2011. However, there is nothing that has to be cut. The same thought went through my head- "how is this supposed to hook up to the existing parts?" I know it looks a little confusing, but I just held the stock elbow and the VMP elbow side by side and compared how the air flowed through the stock one, and then visualized how to hook up the VMP one to accomplish the same task. Maybe I have just confused you more though! Hopefully somebody can post up a pic. Good luck!

I can´t figure out how the hose from the EVAP sensor relocation kit connect from the elbow to the sensor without making a buckling and how the sensor could be relocated behind or sideward the bigger VMP elbow because of the missing space there.

Has anyone some pictures from the relocation of the EVAP sensor?
