Cruise weather has finally arrived in the S.F. Bay Area and it’s time to get our “Powered By Ford” vehicles out on the road and stretch their legs. Post up if you're interested in a local Team Shelby gathering. Our planned route is a 50 mile run from Saratoga to Half Moon Bay following Hwy 9 to Hwy 35 to Hwy 84 (stopping at Alice's for a short pit stop) down to Hwy 1 and north to the popular Half Moon Bay Brewing Company http://www.hmbbrewingco.com/ at the harbor for lunch. This route has a great variety of curves, twisties, straightaways and elevation changes for spirited driving. Join us for one of the first cruises of the new season. See you then. Thanks!

Here is where we'll be meeting in Saratoga. Let's plan on arriving around 9:30am and we'll head out at 10:00am.

14400 Big Basin Way, Saratoga, CA 95070 (behind the 76 Gas Station). There's a Starbucks across the street!

Bummer for me...I'll be giving a seminar in Scottsdale that weekend...

 

If I lose my place while I'm talking, and go into soft focus....it'll be because I'm thinking of a Shelby cruise with my friends and not the task at hand... :hysterical:

Looks like we'll have 2 Race Red Boss 302's on the cruise with Oliverc joining us from the Boss 302 Forum. This should be interesting! See you in Saratoga on the 19th.

Jim, shoot, ZUT! I'll be on a business trip in Malaysia. Yet another cruise I'll miss. Can't make the one to So. Lake Tahoe as well. Dana

I know schedules make attending a lot of events problematic. I've been swamped since January, so I understand. See you at Infineon for Mini-Nats and maybe a fall cruise...

Hello, I would like to join you guys is possible? I am an original owner on my 2008 GT500 and always wondered if people met up here around the bay. I may have a friend with his 2007 GT500 join to if its ok.

You and your friend are absolutely invited to join us! These Team Shelby "fun runs" are all about the Blue Oval and are open to any "Powered by Ford" vehicle. We have several guests from other Forums attending and I'm confident Carroll Shelby would approve, as he always said his cars were designed and built to be driven and enjoyed. I'll post you above and I look forward to meeting you in Saratoga this coming Saturday!

I'll get you posted up on page #1. I can meet you at Sears SunValley just before 8am, or at the intersection of San Ramon and Sycamore Valley Roads in Danville at 8:15am.

 

We'll definitely do something to honor CHS...

Jim- it looks like we might get another '12 Boss in white. CaliMR from another forum lives on the peninsula and would like to go along with his friend.

That's great news! I'll add CaliMr to the first post on page #1. It's possible we may have 5 Boss 302's on the cruise. We'll be able to take several red, white and blue "Patriotic" photos like these...
