Helix
Dang; you definantly don't see that every day. So, the car is built to seperate the front end is this saying, or am I misinterpretting this. If it is, why? I'm not getting the physics behind it. Either way, 2009 GT500 models driving around just went down by 1. Edit: do note that the cobra emblems are salvageable. There would have been a bunch of Mustangs ejecting their engines in crashes.

She's alive after the car hitting a concrete piller 10 feet in the air at a high rate of speed. After witnessing the 2008 incident in south Texas, I believe the 2005+ Mustangs is one of the safest cars out there in a roll over or any type of massive crash. After 21 years as a firefighter, I've about seen it all and not many cars will take that type of hit with the driver surviving. And yes, in such an impact, that is exactly what it is designed to do. The drivers compartment is left as intact as phisically possible while the rest of the car takes the impact. It does take tremendous force to make this happen however. This was all discussed quite a bit a few weeks ago in another thread.
