GTS Complete-Build Photos

Recommended Posts

This is a call to GTS owners to post their photos of their completed builds. This will help future/potential owners. I will post mine as soon as it is done. So far, a Google or Yahoo search only shows a limitted number of versions. I chose to build a Red/White GTS. But it would have been great to see a Kona Blue, etc.

Thanks to Richard at SA for the photos!

Lets build some more GTS's...

Do they have anymore pics of completed rides they could share with us? I am loving all these pics of completed rides. IMO they are all better looking than the silver one SAI uses for advertising... I am thinking I am going to have to lower the asking price on my motorcycle to get this build going!

You're welcome. Richard at Shelby saw my post and kindly provided them. It is good to know that the SAI customer service specialists are reading. [Thanks again Richard!] When you send you car in, ask for him. He'll take good care of you.

I believe Richard is who I spoke with at the Bash about the GTS. A real nice guy.

Here's my completed car. It was picked up at SA today and will arrive in Hawaii 16 May ... at least that's what Auto Logistics is saying.

I'm stoked to hear your ride is finally on its way to you!!! I know your wife (and you) will enjoy every minute when it arrives!

Sounds like your car is moving much quicker than mine did. Receiving the hood seemed to be a sticking point in production.

Guessing by the wheels that the third one is a 5.0? First one? Will be interesting to see how many 5.0 GTS' will be built out of the total when done in the future.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the progress. [i'll stop there because I don't want to jinx it :-) ]. I wonder. Perhaps things are finally getting pack to normal after the 50th Bash and worries Mr. Shelby's health. I'm glad to see on the forum that he is getting better.

I was thinking that the two Kona Blues must be two different cars v6/v8. One had GT premium wheels and a MPG of 25. and the other shot has the running pony faux gas gap instead of the"GT" cap.

My car will look like the first one (race red) but with 2012 dark grey wheels instead of the 2011 polished aluminum.

Somebody please buy "Recon Scout's" motorcycle so we can see a Grabber blue. :-) I was almost set to buy a pre-owned grabber blue/white 2010 GT500 but opted for the new GTS. Silly ... but my toughest choice was race red v. grabber blue. I would have loved a White/Blue GT350 but I had to stop myself.

I'm with you, a grabber blue GTS will be very interesting to see completed. What kind of stripes? I've seen the normal cars with both black and white accents and both look good. Good luck with the cycly sale Recon!!

i might have a buyer for the bike! I should know something today. I let my wife know and she didn't seem too thrilled. Haha, I guess she never took me sriously about the conversion. I plan to do the black stripes on mine, so it should look hella mean!

are these the first 4 (production) cars?

These are some of them. from what I have heard they have built about 20 so far. Speaking of numbers of GTSs built... does anyone know if SAI has identified someone to be a GTS Registrar?

I was given the name of Steven Thornton, 702.810.0912. I haven't made any contact as of yet.
