ilmor Posted April 28, 2012 Report Share Posted April 28, 2012 Hey all, One of my (original equipment) hood pin clips has broken on my 2007 SGT. It will not longer stay tightly closed. So, the question is, is it possible to find/buy/purchase one hood pin clip? I've searched all over the internet and can't seem to come up w/ a suitable one, plus I really want to make sure its original. EL SHELBY Posted April 28, 2012 Report Share Posted April 28, 2012 You can pick them up at most any home improvement store for a $1 or less. They just will not have the lanyards. I use a set i picked up from Homedepot for day to day and then change out for the original lanyard set for display/car shows. From day one I was worried about some punk undoing the pins and I not noticing until I'm flying down the road and the pins have scratch and chipped the paint as they bounce around. I had not noticed them in hardware stores before, but now that you mention it I seem to recall quite a selection of similar things at my local Ace Hardware, and I have a Lowes not too far away.
