Any dealers out there have a similar car willing to sell at MSRP or below? If anyone in the form knows of any please PM me..

I found Jeff to be great to work with and would recommend him to anyone. He offered to order me the car exactly how I wanted it at sticker!

I believe he has one or two allocations left. Contact him and get the mother hot!! Gabe

My thoughts also,That shouldn't be a problem finding a car @sticker!!!

Depends on where you are and how far you're willing to travel and what color you're looking for. For the easy colors to find (ie: Black w/ Black or Red stripes, SGM w/ Black stripes) there's no shortage of them on cars.com and autotrader.com and certainly works to the buyer's advantage. Also, Florida has always been notorious for ADM's on these cars. For example, Daytona Beach still wants 18k over for a Ruby Red Glass Roof. We can both agree he's hitting the crack pipe too hard. My dealer sold both of mine at MSRP, he's local and has a great service department. Not worth it trying to beat that deal by a grand or two. Plus, I ordered both of mine the way I wanted for MSRP as well.

Why not simply ignore the ADM or even sticker asking price. Offer invoice and start from there. That will let the retailer know that you are not a sucker and will not be entertaining the idea of paying any kind of a premium. These cars have been marketed now for eight years by the tens of thousands, and are soon to be yesterdays news with a redesigned Mustang on deck. These retailers remember the jack pot they got into with the KRs a number of years ago and don't want to end up with discounts of 30 grand again.

No offense intended to anyone but I'm a little shocked at some of the post indicating MSRP is a bad deal on this car. I fear we may be misleading others that want the car as badly as we did / do. Trying to compare the 2013 GT-500 and it's purchase to others seems off mark IMHO... It is the most powerfull american made production auto. I presume all of us that have one primairily purchased it for that exact reason.

I myself reviewed this forum prior to my purchase and after a full year of off / on seeking both local and online ADM was the norm. I refused to pay that. My last dealership tried to cut me a deal with "only" $1K ADM. I refused on principle alone. I felt stupid even begging everyone to sell me at MSRP much less a penny over.

My point is this; the car is special and we may likely never see this amount of HP again as government mandated MPG move closer into full affect. If you are seeking one of these out by all means hold out for no ADM. You can get them. If you can negotiate less than MSRP, God bless you, do it. However if you want this car now and MSRP is available, take it. Try less if you dare and walk out. But run back in if they don't run after you IF you want this car. I doubt very seriously you will look foolish later on for buying a car that quite frankly is inveed and admired around the world at msrp when a few may or may not have saved a few thousand dollars...

The horsepower wars are not going away anytime soon. SRT is in the game again and GM never left . The guys @ SVT are in this for keeps . So stay tuned for some wild rides down the road. Just keep a tight grip on your wallet and enjoy the ride. 2014 set the bar pretty high but these engineers won't stop there nor would have Mr Shelby if he were still with us. Remember when someone asked him what is your favorite car and he said "the next one".

Great comment by him and I whole heartedly agree. As for the ADM arguement, being able to order exactly what I wanted for MSRP and from a great local dealer, I'm good with that. Also got a fair trade in on my '13 and don't have to travel miles to get the new one, well worth it. I might feel differently if my dealer here wasn't excellant; but, they're that good. And I've dealt with enough bad ones to know.

This is the emotional side of the issue that plays its hand with the understanding or overtone of shortage. There are NO shortages of these cars as evidenced by many years having incentives and no reason to pay any more for a GT500 than any other production vehicle.

Pretty sure everyone here is emotionally attached to these cars. I doubt anyone bought this car because it made the most economical sense...Not sure rationale could even play any part in purchasing a 200MPH 662HP mustang... To say that a car with a production MY run of <5K with high worldwide media attention and strong demand is not limited defies logic... All this of course is solely my opinion and very open to debate and counter views...
