rjm-1
Can someone tell me where to attach the lanyards for my SS billet hood pin set? Maybe a picture? I know the instructions say to attach it say in the lower ledge of the radiator support directly in front of the rivet nut, drill a 1/8” hole and secure the end of the lanyard (opposite the lynch pin) with a 1/8” pop rivet or self tapping screw". But I've seen pictures of the lanyard attached further outboard and the lanyard run under the headlight support. This looks like a better location, but I'd like to verify this location before drilling a hole in this location. See photo below. Don't know how the lanyard stays attached in a straight line like that without dropping down? Then a closer picture after during the install of my radiator cover............. and then a picture showing the loop of the lanyard when it is attached inboard of the headlight...........
