Interesting that in the article, it refers to the car as "the 49-state Shelby with cats..." Does this indicate that the car is street-legal in all but one state?

Wondering if that state would be California?

Probably...but I'm happy as hell to have my KR, so no matter. :)

Looks like it would make a fine "Drifting" car. Not sure I really understand the concept of drifting as a sport. It was “frowned upon” by the police if they caught you smoking your tires like that when I was young, dumb, and had a full tank of Sunoco 260 in my then new 1970 Mustang.

Pulling out of the local Shoney’s, Bob’s Big Boy, Dairy Queen, or hundreds of other home town drive inn restaurants on a Friday or Saturday night required laying as much rubber as you could from whatever you were driving at the time. Failure to do so could result in major embarrassment at school or work the following Monday morning. The old,”My clutch was slipping excuse,” usually only worked the first time or until the cop peered into your car and saw the automatic transmission shifter. Now days I guess you could tell him you’re in training for a “sport”.

Wow, One Thousand Horsepower! If you ask me what that is, I’d have to tell you it was the total horsepower of my last three Mustangs … no really, a 225 hp LX5.0, 305 hp Mach 1, and my 550 hp 2011 GT-500 (LOL).

"This subframe allows the supercharged aluminum-block V-8 to be moved back a bit and down 0.75 in. "

No other modifications needed besides this to fit the 3.6 Kenne Bell under a stock hood? Notching...?

Notice the hood has more bulge than a stock GT500 hood.

Awesome read and vids...Amazing how a 1000 hp Stang has a proper grill but a production 650hp GT500 don't

have one because of cooling issues.

LOL. I been thinking this for a while. A veyron has a grill and this car has a grill but our 13 can't have any? Ford got lazy at the end with our car.
