KobraII
Man, those pics are classic. Made me grin :D. Well, I don't have a S-195, in fact go back 30 years and that's what I got. I have a 1976 Mustang Cobra II. Just a 302, 3 speed auto car. Oh, and did I mention I'm only 17 ^_^

KobraII
Awww, that just made me warm and fuzzy inside, or the feeling you get when you just punch the throttle. Yeah.... I'm going with the latter
RUFDRAFT
That's right. Age is not relevant when it comes to cars. Remember the GT commercial with the father & son? "Wanna go again?"

KobraII
Lol. I don't think it's going to be in my future any time soon to learn how to drive a standard. My father says "I don't really feel like tearing your Cobra down every two weeks to put a new clutch in it," and the only other standard gearbox car we have is a '86 SVO, and my father is hell-bent on not letting me drive it. If you don't know, the SVO Mustang's were a 4 cyl, turbo car from the factory. Lets put it this way, me made a trip from Cincinnati, Ohio to Louisville, Kentucky, usually a good 1 hour 30 minute drive, in 45 minutes... Yeah, it's that fast

RUFDRAFT
Yep. The Mustang SVO's were fast. I think 200 hp from a 4-banger. They used the same engine in the T-Birds (SC) and they would run 142 or so! I had an '85 GT and had a tough time playing with an SVO!

moabman
I had the same engine in my 86 Tbird turbo coupe only w/o the intercooler that the Mustang SVT had. Ford also used the same engine in the Merkur X4Ti. Sweet engine but you better change the rubber timing belt when they suggest! :o
ShelbyPilot
9VENOM9, Great pics of an awesome car. Which JBA Headers did you use? Long tube or the cat forward? Did you have them installed or do it yourself? If you had them installed, how much did it run you? I am want the headers but I am going to have to sneak them on. Thank You, Chris
