IASHELBYGT
My car is usually parked for about 4 months during the winter. It was nice weather here in Iowa this weekend, so I took the Shelby out for the 1st time since early December. God it felt good hearing the roar of the exhaust and shifting through the gears. What a great stress reliever! Some people run, others ride their bike, I drive the Shelby to feel good. Car show season is right around the corner -yeah baby! jmn444
Yep yep yep!!!! Got mine insured on Saturday, drove it Sunday, and it's officialy the daily driver now again.... I truly forgot the feeling of the shifter and the power it has... almost scared me a little when I punched it! 100mph comes soooooo quick!
verlyn12
With the 70 degree weather in SD the last couple of days, I got the Shelby out, too. The Harleys were out cruising and it was a great drive! I will be driving the Shelby to work the rest of the week-a 90 mi round trip that I am really looking forward to. Just got it in December so have not had much drive time as of yet. Looking forward to car show season for sure!
twobjshelbys
Yep, I get the supercharger back for the FGT tomorrow and hope to be back on the air before the end of the week. We're definitely going to get some more snow between now and April (usually done by the 2nd or 3rd week, although it can snow into the last week). The roads are getting warm enough that the cold tires on cold pavement don't scare me as much. Still not going to try to go over the hill (I70) to Vegas though. That's a different part of the world. 07SGT0547
I just put an "easy" 765 miles on mine today... Left KC at 6am and arrived in ABQ at 6pm... Another 575 and we'll be in Vegas tomorrow for Dinner...
2+2
Keep us updated on the drive to Vegas and bash.. I would be driving my SGT to work now, but sections of the road are wet in the early morning. Must be the frost coming out. Plus it is still dark now on the drive in and the deer are all over the place here in Corn country. Looks like weekend drives for me for a bit..
