1sick snake
I own an 07 40th(CSM 221) and while cleaning(dusting) the engine compartment, I noticed that there is a connector(looks factory) attached to the negative side of the battery. About 6-8 inches into the line, there is a plug. The plug is disconnected on my car. The car runs great and I'm just curious as to what this plug is for? Should I connect it? Leave it alone? I friend always says if it ain't broke........... I bought the car back in August from TX Cobra and I have really enjoy it. I have not had any issues with it but just noticed the disconnected plug. Thanks for any advice. Tony
0201212
A pic of the plug would help us figure out what it is. With out a picture the only thing that comes to mind is a pigtail for a battery tender.

Torch40
Glad you figured it out. If you store your car at all, get the Tender. It will extend the life of your battery by years.
