BAD SNAKE
Chevy Volt is the next car for me! Heck I might even trade in the Shelby. Click on the video and I'm sure you'll agree!! http://usamericanfre...ody-commercial/

ilmor
I read today that studies show that the most educated and well-to-do buy the Volt! I believe the well-to-do part. "Educated" is a very subjective word these days, obviously (and you can thank the Volt types for that too)!
SGT/SC#0471
Personally a terrific electric car would be awesome, very awesome and if they sold millions of them even better, more gas for the rest of us! Price would drop too....
Secondo
You would trade a Shelby for a Volt? Are you ok? Electric or gas heat, oven, water heater, car? Which is more efficient? Is a car just an appliance to you?

I know the Volt is a POS. Oh well, not as funny as "I" thought. Maybe I have an odd since of humor. :beerchug: I would NEVER trade my GT500 for a chevy......NEVER!!! Helix
Please please please please PLEASE Ford, let the electric Focus be this decade's revolution. While this was hilarious (especially since my friend doesn't know much about cars but she thought the Fiero was pretty; I explained to her the Pinto and Fiero's stories before; so we got a huge kick out of this), sadly its hard to be an American car lover when nothing is going your way. and I mean it; nothing. Thanks for posting, a great laugh. Edited March 1, 2012 by Helix
David Hawkins
Please please please please PLEASE Ford, let the electric Focus be this decade's revolution. If it can go at least 100 Miles per Charge and be very VERY affordable, that would be GREAT.
EL SHELBY
People don't realize hybrids and electrics may save fuel but they don't save you any money. If I was looking for an efficent car I would get a diesel long before a hybrid or an electric and save both fuel and cash. ilmor
I read the other day also that somewhere in CA they are allowing Volt owners to drive in the HOV lane - just because they own a Volt. How much sense does that make, really? It's saving almost zero fuel! Wouldn't it make more sense to allow Shelby drivers in the HOV lane? That would save fuel!!! Secondo
http://jalopnik.com/...-design-problem That's a risk for any electric-only vehicle or battery-operated charged device. Probably why we've been using gasoline engines for over 100 years.
