BoneDoc
traction and practice launching. if you can launch with him, your HP should pull him. LCA relocation bracket and drag radials would be a good start. good luck

BoneDoc
I went with CHE relocation brackets. they are easy to install, beefy, and adjustable. http://www.cheperformance.com/CartGenie/prod-264.htm. about 60 bucks. When i go to the drag strip i pull out the old stock GT500 rims (18") and use Nitto 305/45/18's. they are not as wide as my SS wheels (335's) but i think having the extra side wall (deflating the tire to 16PSI) and softer compound helps with bite. hope that helps. if you have a few extra bucks get a linelock installed so you can heat'em up before your run. get some video! Robert M
Here is what was achieved with a 725 on 18" M/T E.T. Streets........... Sitting in the drivers seat the first thoughts are "rev it up and launch it", but as the article reports, a lower RPM netted the better time, and that was a very low RPM launch. You are going to have to find what works best for you once the traction aids are in place. From what I read, that ZR-1 is also in the 10.80's stock, with the right driver.
