crispy23c
I just got mine in the mail today and have not read it yet. Sorry, all! Here's their link: http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/sect...gory=LATESTNEWS I promise I'll read up on it & get back to you. Probably nothing we don't know already. I know for sure that there is one innaccuracy on the cover: It says 1,000 to be made, and we all heard different!

1FAFP90
This is probably the first Autoweek I've gotten in the mail that didn't have a torn cover, or arrive two weeks after everyone else gets theirs. I've got the magazine sitting on our coffee table, in hopes it will send subliminal messages to my wife

I know for sure that there is one innaccuracy on the cover: It says 1,000 to be made, and we all heard different! Yes, the 1,000 thing is confusing. In the video where they unveiled the car, the Ford guy (Mark Fields?) mentioned 1,000 also...not sure what gives. Dave
68fastback
Remember, magazines have long lead times. Carroll was asked about the 1,000 in the video and his response was that he had not signed off on that number yet. The implication being that it might be more (or less). 68fastback
Agreed....and read my post above yours for more confusion. May be it's a combination of the "1,000" by Fields being just an estimate and the 'I haven't signed off yet' just some very friendly bravado given the history of the KR and GT500 in '68 ;-) .
