ACCLERCR Posted January 28, 2012 Report Share Posted January 28, 2012 (edited) Guys, I have a 2008 GT500, and only put about 1,000 miles/year on her....fully garaged, car-gatherings on weekend only, etc. I currently have Insurance with Chartis (Barrett-Jackson sponsored company), however, the premium for this year just went up over 40%. What other options are out there? Hagerty? Grundy? Heacock? If these are options, what is the best plan to have the lowest premium, as well us assigning a value to your car should anything happen (theft, fire, etc.)? Please help! I'm looking at "CHROME" right now. I can't tell you much about it as I'm in quote phase.... I've seen others recommend it, which is why I'm considering it. RmGardner Posted January 28, 2012 Report Share Posted January 28, 2012 I have Grundy and started with an aggreed value of $40,000 on my SGT and I just got the new preminum and they raise the value each year and it is at $44,000 and the preminum is $645.00. The Shelby wont be my daily driver but I want to drive it fairly regularly when the weather is nice. Grundy was going to limit me to driving it for pleasure or to car shows (no trips to the store or work, etc). The two least expensive unrestricted quotes I got were from Travelers and USAA.
