The 2013 bodywork was aproved just last week and they were able to run it. The week has been going well. Been beautiful and hot. Today was pretty wet and the race started in the wet, but then dried out pretty quickly. The 2013 body work looks pretty good.

Here's a shot of the new Aston Martin being run by Multimatic. It's a pretty sweet machine.

Here's the new Focus ST-R also being run by Multimatic,

Congrats-

I read yesterday that the Roush cars swept the front row with Shelby on the poll

"Shelby Blackstock captured the GS pole with a lap of 109.051 mph in the No. 51 Starstruck Entertainment Ford Mustang Boss 302 R. He will be joined on the front row by teammate Jack Roush Jr., who ran 108.923 mph in the No. 61 Roush Performance Ford Mustang Boss 302 R."

FYI- Shelby is the son of country star Reba McEntire

Yea, fun weekend for sure with Fords also taking the Rolex 24 in DP. Yes, Shelby B. is Reba's son. Reba is really cool. Very into her son's racing, so that is also cool. Also got to spend time with Patrick Dempsey, Brian Johnson from AC/DC (driving in the #50 Daytona Prototype), Bob Bondurant and his wife, Matt Farah from Top Gear (he was filming for Turner Motorsports this weekend), and Garth Stein (author of best selling "The Art of Racing in the Rain". Overall pretty good weekend!

Sounds like a great time, following it on TV for 2 days is always nice but I think the wife and I will try to attend next years event with the Roush folks
