Baer Brakes Deal

Whenever in question, CALL. The SPP people can give you details the Web can't.

It depends on the brake color and location.

I've been waiting on mine (Blue w/Silver lettering) since I placed my order on 12/13.

I received my Shelby (BMR) A-arms over a week ago and figured I'd get the brakes sooner since it was a "inventory reduction" sale.

I called Tim a few back and he said the label was made TODAY so at least I'm in the pipe. And with winter here, I told him NO HURRY and that I'm good just knowing my order hadn't been lost or forgotten about.

So for any others, there seems to be a slight lag between ordering and sending/receiving but apparently, they're still available (???).

If Red/Black were available, I woulda bought the rears to match my fronts. Almost bit the bullet and bought a full set of Yellow... the price is SO good.

Per SPP, can't get a matching set of Black/Red (front and rear) for the sale price. Thanks anyway.

You know Dan, if you buy the gift certificate (20% off) you can effectivly get the rears for a little over $3000.00.

The GC sale is still on though tomorrow.

I would be all over the Blue with silver brakes for the rear if they were not drilled rotors....I already have Baer slotted only rotors for the front and rear.

Robert if I can just buy the Blue rear caliper only and the mounting bracket for $450 less? I know the answer is NO but its worth a shot.

True that but the extra grand is tough getting by the boss.

Sorry for the delay, Phil. The holiday at GT500KR sale has us slightly behind. This is why we're holding off on the Terlingua parts sale.

I completely understand, especially when you hit her up for that '13 Boss around the same time. :lol2:

Dan,

Just put your company logo (very small) on the '13 Boss and call it company advertising... :hysterical:

Tax break and a new Boss. Win Win to me.

LOL..you are all so funny!! For the price of the rear 6 piston brakes, it is not too hard to have them painted the color you would like. $1999 is a great deal. I am ordering a set just to hold onto at this price on monday...

Alex, why'd you have to go and say that?

Now I'll have to subject my wife to even more overtime!

No biggie, Robert.

I just received the rest of my order this morning (rear brakes and "Race style" sway-bar links).

Well, all except for my Team Shelby membership kit and I already know I have to wait a little while longer for that.

Thanks,

Phill

  • 4 weeks later...

Is it just me or does it seem like the price of the extremes have gone up? almost $3,900 and $3,700 is the highest prices i have seen on these. I could be wrong on this but i can't remember seeing them this high before.

I believe SPP no longer stocks the Baer brakes and that could cause higher prices.

Baer had a price increase, so that's the reason behind the change. We carry some, but not all Baers. The fact is though that brakes are going to drop ship from Baer. It makes no sense for Baer to ship brakes to Las Vegas and ship them out again.....it's a very costly and wasteful process.
