medihummer
Hi guys, I just got my shelby GT500 and i can not set time. If i go in settings and choose time there are only lines and i can not adjust the hours and minutes. I switches off the automatic timezone thing as i'm in europe and so it doesn't work any way. Can somebody help me out or is the entertainment system faulty?
GT Premi
The time is set automatically using signals from the GPS satellites. But I believe you can set it manually. Hit the information button and fiddle around in there. Can't verify right now, though. If all else fails, read the manual.
Torched10
since youre in Europe i wonder if the gPS doesnt know it--is it working for directions et al..Id check Ford and see if the GPS has to be tuned to EU location
kb67
On my 2008 Shaker 500 you hit the menu button on the radio you go thur some settings for the radio L and R adjust Tremble / Bass you pass a few more settings then see your hours start to flash you use the up and down track selection buttion to adjust the hour then if you hit menu again the minutes start flashing same buttons again. hitting the menu button just cycles you thur all the available settings. Not sure if you have sync on yours but my guess is the menu selector is you key to finding the spot to adjust time.
medihummer
I'm affraid the time is a sign of a bigger underlaying problem. The engine cuts off if i come from a highway. today i saw a yellow nut key warning light in the rev counter. I read obdii code and it gave p1227 wastegate failure I have the impression there is communication problem between the radio pedals and the ECU i think that if i turn from the highway the cable is disconnecting from the computer and let the engine switch off if i restart al warnings are off and the car drives fine as if nothing happened I also got p0512 and p1602 obdii codes
medihummer
time problem is solved seems that the antenna from the satellite radio was not connected and strangely then you can not set time changed the throttle position sensor and hope that will solve the engine cut off problem
